Lifesaving Society First Aid

EB Aquatics offers Lifesaving Society First Aid and CPR programs designed to build confidence and preparedness for real-life emergencies. Our hands-on training is ideal for families, caregivers, aquatic professionals, and workplaces, with a strong focus on prevention, practical skills, and water safety.

For added convenience, we travel to businesses, schools, and community groups to deliver engaging, instructor-led training on-site.

Course Offerings

  • Emergency First Aid is for people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include:

    • victim assessment

    • CPR

    • choking

    • external bleeding

    • heart attack

    • stroke

    • wounds

    • burns

  • Standard First Aid provides comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid and CPR. Standard First Aid incorporates all of Emergency First Aid and is designed for those who require a more in-depth understanding of first aid including:

    • legal implications of first aid treatment

    • spinal injuries

    • heat or cold injuries

    • bone and joint injuries

    • chest injuries

    • medical emergencies.

  • Learn CPR skills and the signs, symptoms and care of choking, non-breathing and pulseless victims.

    CPR-A(Adult) teaches how to do CPR and choking procedures for adults and includes the importance of early defibrillation and how to use an AED.

    CPR-C (Adult, Child & Infant) covers all aspects of CPR skills and theory for adult, child and infants, including two-rescuer CPR skills. CPR-C includes the importance of early defibrillation and how to use an AED.

    CPR-HCP (Adult, Child & Infant, AR, AED, BVM) covers all aspects of CPR including rescue breathing and the use of AEDs and BVMs. This Health Care Provider (HCP) level is designed specifically for those who as part of the job description as Health Care Providers have a duty to respond to medical emergencies (e.g., doctors, nurses, paramedics, and allied health care professionals).

  • Emergencies can happen when we least expect them. Our Infant CPR Workshop is designed to equip parents, caregivers, and anyone who cares for an infant with the essential life-saving skills needed in case of an emergency.

    ✅ How to recognize an infant in distress
    ✅ Step-by-step CPR techniques for infants (0-12 months)
    ✅ How to respond to choking emergencies
